First Friday Artwalk

The Art Galleries of Saint Augustine founded and sponsors the award-winning First Friday Art Walk event on the first Friday of every month. Galleries open their doors from 5 to 9 p.m., offering new art exhibits and lively receptions to the public.

Pink up the Pace 5K Run/Walk

The 15th Annual Pink Up The Pace Run/Walk is more than a race.

They serve both women and men in an effort to raise money to help fund imaging services to detect breast cancer. Through their organization, they aim to have a positive impact on the lives of those affected by breast cancer in St. Augustine and the surrounding areas.

Pink Up The Pace raises money to assist the uninsured and underinsured in the early detection of breast cancer and increase public awareness of the importance of early detection and provide support to survivors and their families.

Please note that the event has moved and this year’s event will start at the St. Augustine Beach Pier.

Since 2010, Sykes Family Farms has been providing folks of all ages with “Agritainment”. You may wonder what this means… They combine a 9-acre corn maze full of “cornfusing” twists and turns. Mix it all together and you have “Agritainment”!

Other FARMtastic features to enjoy include a play area, animals, cow-milking, hayrides, live music at select times and more!

Head to Coconut Barrel on Saturday, October 7th from 10am to 3pm for their Fall Craft Market!

In addition to their 200+ indoor vendors, they’ll have 45 outdoor vendors and an apple cider bar (while supplies last)! Shop & sip while you see all the amazing local art Saint Augustine has to offer! See you there!

Creekside Festival

The Creekside Festival is a Florida Heritage Festival that has become one of the most popular festivals around, attracting more than 10,000 visitors each year. The annual festival features family friendly activities, variety live music, bluegrass, country, rock & classic hits.

During the two-day event you can also experience historic demonstrations, check-out an authentic moonshine still, a variety of food, local vendors, beer garden, pony rides, petting zoo, kids zone with train rides, hay rides, face painting, bounce houses and much more in a picturesque natural setting at Princess Place Preserve.

25th Annual Greek Festival

October 7 and 8, 2023

On October 7th and 8th, immerse yourself in authentic Greek culture and heritage during the 25th Annual Greek Festival!

Transport your senses to Greece as you taste authentic homemade foods, drinks and pastries at the Kouzina (kitchen), Psistaria (grill), Zaharoplastio (sweet shop), Kafenio (cafe) and Taverna (bar). Explore the online menu to begin your Greek culinary journey - and pre-order whole pans online now!

For one weekend, surround yourself with the sounds of Greek music, enjoy live performances and participate in traditional Greek folk dancing. The 25th annual event also features an arts and crafts market showcasing Greek products as well as handcrafted items created by local artists, artisans and makers. You can even take a guided church tour and attend Sunday morning liturgy.   

This is a FREE event, open to the public. Festival hours are Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. There will be NO parking at the Church. Please park at RJ Murray Middle School, located at 150 N. Holmes Blvd and enjoy the free shuttle service provided by Old Town Trolley!

CROCtoberfest

St. Augustine Alligator Farm

Head to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm for their 5th Annual CROCtoberfest: Benefiting alligator science and research at the Rosenblatt Lab at the University of North Florida.

On the first weekend of October each year, the Alligator Farm celebrates crocodilians through their Brew-at-the-Zoo, Croctoberfest! This conservation event features breweries and vendors from throughout Florida. You can sample beers from your neighborhood breweries as you learn about conservation work happening right here in St Johns County.

This is a strictly 21 and older event. No Children including infants or toddlers are permitted.

HorsePlay Fall Festival

Bring the kids for a day of Fall fun at the HorsePlay Therapy Center barn. Pumpkin patch, pony rides, tractor rides, horse jumping demonstrations, face painting, bounce houses, arts & crafts, live music, food trucks, beer and wine, and more!

This year they will be have new surprise stations that they can't wait for you to see! The 2023 HorsePlay Therapy Center Fall Festival is sponsored by Indianhead Biomass Services.

St. Benedict Blues Festival

Saint Benedict of the Moor Catholic Church

The Saint Benedict the Moor Blues Festival will be held on October 20th through 22nd to benefit the Saint Benedict the Moor Catholic Mission Rectory Fund.

This year marks the 11th year of the annual festival featuring some of the best blues performers, amazing home cooked food and tons of fun.

St. Johns County Cracker Day

SJC Cracker Day returns to the St. Johns County Fairgrounds on October 21st!

The St. Johns County Cattlemen’s Association’s annual event will again feature a farmers market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., kids’ activities, entertainment and of course horse games!

Vilano Vibe-Rations

Catch the small town beach vibe at the second annual Vilano Beach music festival!

This year’s event will highlight the hottest local musicians who will be strumming up great tunes throughout the afternoon into the early evening.

As the music flows and the crowd is swaying, there will be plenty of deliciousness that will be served up by some of our city’s finest food truck vendors from BBQ to seafood and everything in between – come hungry! A beer tent and bars will be available and we will be serving up one-of-a-kind local brews, wines, cocktails and of course non-alcoholic bevvies.

These GOOD GOOD GOOD GOOD VIBE-Rations are being coordinated by Vilano Beach Main Street. Proceeds help to support community beautification efforts and other community events.

Ancient City Kids’ Day

Coordinated by EPIC Behavioral Healthcare and brought to the community by a committee of children organizations, Ancient City Kids Day is a day of fun-filled activities for children and families.

The event is free for the public and will include more than 40 youth service organizations each of whom will offer games, activities, crafts, giveaways, bounce houses or fun contests for kids. They will also be offering resource information for parents regarding programs and services in the community.
